Levity Gourmet Marshmallows Product Review

While I anxiously awaited my package from Levity Gourmet Marshmallows, a recently launched online marshmallow boutique, I spent sometime at their fresh and fun website!  Their online store is easy to navigate and their product photo/flavor catalog makes you want to reach right in and “pluck” a marshmallow!

Levity offers 9 gourmet marshmallow flavors and they sent me their Favorite Flavors Variety Package! The packaging was so cute I didn’t want to open it up! I was glad my “tasting team” took a few days to get together so I could adore the little brown bag with a see through window and tied with a brown bow! (I’m a sucker for bows!) My package included Vanilla, Mint, Toasted Coconut, Peanut Butter Crunch and S’more, a total of 15 gourmet marshmallows.

 

With the tasting team all together we started with the Vanilla marshmallow which was so soft, moist and delicate, very much a “comforting” flavor and a perfect beginning. We then sampled the Peanut Butter Crunch which reminded us of a FlufferNutter  (Marshmallow Fluff and Peanut Butter) but much fresher and with the delightful addition of peanuts in every bite! The Toasted Coconut marshmallows were a delicious tropical delight.  At first we weren’t sure about the S’more flavor...could a single marshmallow really capture the full flavor of a real S’more? After just one bite I have to say that of all the flavors, this was unanimously our absolute favorite! It was like in the Willy Wonka movie where you took a bite and first you could taste the fresh, sweet vanilla, then next came the graham cracker and just as you finished savoring that flavor here comes the milk chocolate, amazing! I’ll be taking these to my next campfire! We finished our “meal” of marshmallows with the Mint which was perfectly light and refreshing without being overly minty.

 

We all LOVED Levity’s Gourmet Marshmallows, from the packaging, to the presentation, texture and taste...each one smooth and creamy! We were sad when all the marshmallows were gone, wishing we had more! These are perfect to enjoy yourself or to give as gifts....I wonder if they thought of a “Marshmallow of the Month Club?” Sign me up! Get Your Levity Gourmet Marshmallows!

Levity Gourmet Marshmallows is the brainchild of two recent college graduate entrepreneurs based in Henderson, Nevada. The name “Levity Gourmet Marshmallows” is in celebration of both the airy texture of their products and the lighthearted spirit that marshmallows elicit. All of their marshmallows are made by hand in small batches with the finest and freshest ingredients possible. They also melt beautifully to enhance your favorite hot chocolate!

We'll order some of these most excellent marshmallows for our next taste test at the National Marshmallow Roasters Institute board meeting. Thank you for the review. You really know how to whet our appetites for real marshmallow flavor. I expect Smores will be our favorite at the NMR Institute.
